Saskatchewan Rattlers Announce Single-Game Tickets On Sale Now
The Saskatchewan professional basketball team tips off their season on May 25th at the SaskTel Centre
Saskatoon, Sask. - The Saskatchewan Rattlers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) are excited to announce single-game tickets are now available for each of the 2022 home games.
Rattlers fans now have the opportunity to purchase single game tickets using Ticketmaster. Playing out of the SaskTel Centre, the Rattlers will play 11 home games starting on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, where they celebrate their home opener in front of fans when taking on the Niagara River Lions. The Saskatchewan Rattlers fans can experience all 10 CEBL teams at SaskTel Centre from the end of May until the end of July, with one potential playoff game at home in early August. The 2022 season schedule will feature themed games, live performances, and in-game fan activities. “We are so excited to have our single-game tickets on sale. It means we are only a few weeks away from tip-off when our fans can finally experience live basketball again”, said Rattlers Vice President Brad Kraft. “This year, fans will see a significantly upgraded roster, on both the bench and the hardwood, as we look to get back to the championship level we were in 2019. Fans should be very excited to support this league as we’ve seen a number of players from around the CEBL make the jump to the NBA. Fingers crossed, one of the Rattlers will make the jump this year."
The CEBL started their free agency on February 1st for the 2022 season with players being signed to the 10 franchises including the three new teams; Scarborough Shooting Stars, Montreal Alliance, and Newfoundland Growlers. The Saskatchewan Rattlers have announced the signing of Danish guard Sebastian Åris, and the return of forward D'Andre Bernard. The Rattlers will continue to announce the remaining full 2022 roster in anticipation of the fourth season.
Looking to build off of the previous seasons; the league saw record success in 2020 and 2021 as millions of viewers across Canada and around the world tuned in to games via CEBL, CBC television, CBC Gem, and in-person in all home arenas. The CEBL became the first professional sports league in Canada to return to play with fans in its venues in 2021.
