It's time to get excited for Rattlers Youth Basketball Clinics! We are very excited to offer our next youth co-ed basketball clinic in Regina on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Whether your child is just learning the game of basketball or wants to build upon existing skills, the Rattlers Youth Basketball Clinic is a great program that introduces the fundamentals of basketball and refines some of the early pillars of Canada's fastest growing sport. CAMP FAQ
Q: DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO BE FULLY VACCINATED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CAMP?
A: No, your child does not have to be vaccinated, although we do encourage all participants to be vaccinated, it is not required. We have updated our Covid-19 protocols to ensure safety of our participants, players, and staff - for more information, please email [email protected].
Q: WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE RATTLERS BASKETBALL CLINIC?
A: 8–12 Year Olds- To develop fundamental skills of basketball in a fun and friendly environment.
13–18 Year Olds- To develop the skills necessary to play at a competitive level.
Q: WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE RATTLER BASKETBALL CLINIC?
A: Direct instruction from professional players such as Tyrese Potoma, Lawrence Moore, Nervens Demosthene and Alexander Dewar.
The clinic will have a coach to player ratio of 1:8 which will provide hands-on training for the participants, so they can have a great experience.
Q: WHAT ARE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS?
A: Masks will not be required to be worn for the basketball clinic but we strongly encourage each participant to wear one. Coaches will also be required to wear masks during all sessions.
Prior to each session we will require each participant sign in and sanitize before entering the gymnasium.
*Note: this could change based on provincial regulations and/or the rules set forward by the Regina Public School Division.
Q: WHAT TO BRING TO THE CLINIC?
A: A pair of clean basketball or running shoes, a water bottle, a backpack/duffel bag to hold your belongings, and if possible your own basketball.
Please do not bring food into the facility as the School Division does not permit food in their facilities.
Q: WHEN TO ARRIVE?
A: We ask that each participant come at least 15 minutes before their scheduled session.
